Give Kids A Smile Day!
Dr. Burns, Dr. Lape and our entire staff will again participate in the annual Give Kids A Smile day scheduled for Friday, February 5th, 2010. Give Kids A Smile is a national initiative by the American Dental Association to focus attention on the epidemic of untreated oral disease among children from low-income families. Our office will provide examinations, cleanings, xrays, sealants, fluoride treatments, fillings and other necessary services to the underpriviledged children in Lancaster and Fairfield County. Because of current economic conditions, the number of children not covered with dental insurance has risen. The need to provide services to these children is critical. No one wants to see these children in pain. This is our way of addressing the situation!!
