We would like to introduce you to Dr. Danielle Johnson-Curry! We are privileged to have her join our team at Gentle Dental Care. Dr. Johnson-Curry received her undergraduate degree at Kentucky State University and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky. She completed her General Practice Residency at The Ohio State University in 2009. She has worked in the field of General Dentistry for the last ten years and served as a professor at The Ohio State University, Columbus State Community College and Sinclair Community College. Dr. Johnson-Curry most recently served as the Dental Director of the Nisonger Center Dental Program, providing dental care specifically for people living with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are thrilled to have her here with us to take care of our special disabled patients.
She has received numerous awards and accolades in the dental field along with being an active community service volunteer. She is a member of many professional associations including the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, Special Care Dentistry, American Dental Education Association and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists. A fun fact about Dr. Johnson is that she originally went to college on a “vocal” scholarship! Don’t be surprised if there is a little singing while she works!
The Johnson-Curry family resides in Pickerington. Her husband, Brandon works for a non-profit organization and is a member of the United States Army Reserves. They have three sons, Robert, Jaxon and Harrison who keep their mom busy with their church and community activities!
